Celebrating TREE-mendous Connections: A Recap of Our Member Meetup at The Getaway

Last Saturday, June 22nd, marked a memorable day for our TREE Committee members as we gathered for a delightful meetup at The Getaway, a charming waterfront restaurant known for its relaxed ambiance and scenic views. Nestled on the dock bar, we were fortunate to have an entire section with a gentle breeze and panoramic views of the open water.

The atmosphere was perfect for fostering connections among our dedicated members, and we were thrilled to see such a great turnout. From the moment guests arrived, there was a palpable sense of camaraderie and shared passion for environmental advocacy.

To kick off the afternoon, we introduced a fun icebreaker activity that encouraged everyone to mingle and learn more about each other. It was heartwarming to witness conversations flowing effortlessly as members exchanged stories and experiences related to their commitment to environmental sustainability.

Adding to the excitement, we organized a quick trivia session with enticing prizes, which added a competitive yet lighthearted element to the event. Thanks to The Getaway's generous support, each attendee received drink tickets, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the afternoon to the fullest.

Bonding with our TREE Committee members in such a picturesque setting was an incredibly rewarding experience. We cherished the opportunity to connect on a personal level outside of our regular meetings, reinforcing our shared dedication to preserving and enhancing our local environment.

As the event concluded, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting the success of our efforts in bringing our community closer together. We left The Getaway with renewed enthusiasm and deeper connections, ready to continue our important work with renewed vigor.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all our members who attended and contributed to making this meetup a resounding success. Your enthusiasm and commitment inspire us every day, and we look forward to more gatherings filled with camaraderie and impactful discussions.

We also extend a huge thank you to The Getaway, for hosting us and going above and beyond to accommodate our members!

Stay tuned for future updates and events as we continue our journey towards a greener, more sustainable future together!

If you attended please let a review to the getaway for their support in donating drinks!
