TROY HEDGECOCK

SUnline program coordinator

Troy, a Colorado native, holds a BA in English Literature and Philosophy from CU Boulder. His lifelong love for nature was shaped by childhood adventures in the Colorado mountains and summers spent working on a family farm in western Kansas. A dedicated father, Troy passed on his passion for the outdoors to his three children while building a successful career as a Retail and Sales executive, with stops in St. Louis, Minneapolis, and his ultimate home in St. Petersburg, Florida, in 2014.

Since 2023, Troy has been an active volunteer with Take MAR, contributing to Pinellas Trail tree plantings and the Egmont Key Alliance. In his free time, you’ll find him cycling or walking his dog, Fish, along the Pinellas Trail, exploring St. Pete's vibrant restaurant scene, or indulging his love for cooking, gardening and travel. Passionate about being a good steward of the environment and his local community, Troy is dedicated to preserving and enhancing St. Pete’s natural beauty for future generations.
