Monique was raised in rural North Carolina where she grew up wandering through wooded trails and working on local farms. In her agriculturally-centric hometown, Monique observed her community's reliance on the environment for food to eat, water to drink, and timber to build with. She believes that when we pour into nature, we pour into ourselves and vice versa -- we are one.

It was not until studying Coastal Recreation Management at the University of North Carolina Wilmington that Monique learned of sustainable development practices which left a lasting impact.

Monique is a St Pete resident and works in the local real estate industry. She is excited about the future of regeneration + sustainable development and is committed to building a thriving social-ecological community in Tampa Bay.
