Join us for the "This Is the Year" Beach Cleanup at Fort De Soto Beach and be part of a community working to protect and restore our local environment! Together, we’ll spend the morning clearing debris, preserving the natural beauty of our shores, and reconnecting with the world around us. This special event will feature Gloria Muñoz, St. Petersburg’s Poet Laureate and author of This Is the Year, who will inspire us as we work toward a cleaner, more vibrant beach.

Everyone is welcome to take part in this meaningful opportunity to make a difference. All necessary supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own gloves, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle. Let’s work together to protect the places we love and create a positive impact on our community and the environment.

Parking fees will be waived for event participants, registrants will receive a code to use when entering the park.
