Join us on Saturday, April 19 at Walter Fuller Recreation Center from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Stop by to say hello, grab a free tree, and help grow a greener, more sustainable St. Pete. We can’t wait to see you there!
This event kicks off the City’s new Community Canopy Initiative, a bold plan to plant 1,000 trees citywide in a year.
Here’s what you need to know:
• 500 trees available – first come, first served • One tree per household • Trees must be planted on private property • Bring containers for free soil and mulch (while supplies last) • Choose from 4 native species: Slash Pine, Sand Live Oak, Sweetgum, or Sugarberry
