2025 Earth Day Block Party: A Celebration of Community

Written by Take MAR

On Tuesday, April 22, Take MAR hosted its annual Earth Day Block Party at Foodie Labs along the Pinellas Trail! The evening was all about celebrating community, creativity, and fun, bringing together great people, food, music, art. It was a night to connect, relax, and enjoy the lively energy that comes from the local community coming together to celebrate our planet.

A Perfect Setting for an Evening of Connection

The Earth Day Block Party was packed with fun activities and vibrant energy for all ages. DJ Donnie Luv kept the beat going, setting the perfect backdrop for dancing and celebration. Guests stayed refreshed with drinks from 7C, and kids and families enjoyed face painting, seed-ball making, and games like cornhole and ring toss. REI hosted outdoor trivia on various categories such as Florida Outdoors, Wildlife Wisdom, National Parks and more, challenging guests to test their knowledge while offering inspiration for their next adventure. The food was just as exciting, with local vendors at Foodie Labs offering a diverse array of flavors, making sure there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The event's location along the Pinellas Trail added an extra layer of energy, naturally drawing in cyclists and pedestrians who couldn’t help but stop and join in on the fun! The vibrant chalk art created by the Global Love Project along the trail added an inviting, creative, and fun feel to the area, drawing people into the space. The vibrant buzz extending across the trail created a sense of community and connection that was felt by all.

As the day wrapped up, the announcement of raffle winners marked the end of a fun-filled evening. Sixteen lucky winners took home prizes including a stay at The Vinoy Resort, a year-long membership to Beach Town Yoga, and many more!
