Bill Jordan, a board member, grew up in Lakeland, graduated from USF in Tampa, and relocated to St. Pete Beach in 1983, where he has resided ever since. An avid (some might say rabid) sports fan, Bill enjoys cycling and relaxing on the beach. He first attended the Discover The Island event on Egmont in 2009 and was immediately drawn to both the island and the sponsoring organization, Egmont Key Alliance. Bill joined on the spot and was elected to the Board of Directors in 2011, serving until its dissolution in October 2023. Now, he looks forward to collaborating with both veteran and new volunteers, continuing EKA's mission to preserve the island and its rich history for current and future generations to discover and enjoy.
