Isabela earned her Bachelor’s in Biology from the University of South Florida before advancing to a role as a scientist at an environmental toxicology lab, where she researched emerging toxicants found in aquatic environments. Driven by a dedication to reducing environmental impacts from anthropogenic activity, she pursued and completed a Master’s degree in Sustainable Design at the University of Florida’s College of Design, Construction, and Planning in 2024. Her work concentrated on the dynamic relationship between the built environment, local ecosystems, and community resilience. Outside her role at Take MAR, Isabela is passionate about maintaining balance through yoga and cooking nutritious meals, reflecting her strong commitment to sustainability.
