Take MAR’s Annual Earth Day FUN-Raiser Was a Huge Success!

A Night to Remember!

Friday, April 18th, 2024, music filled the air as Take MAR held our Annual Fundraiser at Foodie Labs along the Pinellas Trail! The event was a huge success, with a wonderful turn out from our supporters and fun to be had for everyone. It was thanks to our sponsors, partners and everyone who joined the festivities that Take MAR was able to make this such a memorable night for all ages. 

The festivities included DJ Donnie Luv, whose energy filled the entire venue and kept the crowd moving all night! Take MAR was also joined by Craft Tee, who did live T-shirt printing for attendees in under 3 minutes a shirt - how cool is that? 7C provided delicious refreshments for the guests, and Foodie Labs vendors had a variety of food to choose from. 

Plenty of games  and activities kept visitors excited, which included ring toss, cornhole, paint a pot and more. There was an open air feel to the event, as people could flow in and out of the venue, joining us for fun along the trail outdoors, or cooling off inside for a bite to eat. The headlining feature was Take MARs prize raffle, which consisted of 11 different baskets for guests to raffle their tickets on. One winner per basket was chosen by the team at random by blind ticket draw at the end of the night, and the prizes were nothing short of amazing!

Once again, Take MAR could not have hosted such a lively event without the support of our sponsors and Foodie Labs! Because this event is Take MAR’s annual fundraiser, the organization depends on the funds raised to help continue our initiatives, purchase our supplies and keep our mission moving forward! 

It is with the help of everyone who came out to show their support, everyone who played a game, everyone who participated in the raffle and everyone who spread our mission by word of mouth that we can do what we do today.
